Orders, sales and payments: keep the three separate

Handle requests clearly and understand what you sold versus what you collected.

Seeno · October 7, 2026

Start by checking the request

Before confirming, check the items, quantities and pickup or delivery details. A pending request is not a completed sale. Handle unavailable items clearly instead of leaving requests pending. Activity brings requests together so you can see what needs attention without searching through several conversations.

Keep statuses aligned with reality

Move orders through confirmed, preparing, ready and delivery where appropriate. Mark them completed only when the service is finished. Seeno records a sale for a completed request; confirming alone does not count it as completed. The same distinction applies between a requested appointment and a service actually delivered.

Record money when you receive it

Sales show completed work; payments show collected money. Record cash, card or transfer payments against the relevant sale. Keep any unpaid balance visible. Recorded refunds reduce net collections, which can therefore differ from sales totals. Recording a payment in Seeno does not charge the customer automatically.

End the day with a short review

Review pending requests, completed work and unpaid balances. Compare recorded payments with money actually received and investigate differences. Add walk-in sales when you want a fuller picture of the day. Consistent daily records make your dashboard more useful than occasional bulk updates and help you avoid overlooking a request or payment.
